Volunteer Paloma introduces JoJo and Jingo, two rescued orangutans at International Animal Rescue's emergency centre in Ketapang, West Kalimantan.
The oldest orangutan in the centre right now is JoJo who is about 11 or 12 years old.
After all his years in solitary confinement, he loves to play with the others through the bars of his enclosure. Every day he also has time dedicated to play with Jingo and some times they play with Nicky too in the central zone in the enclosure where they can be closer. JoJo has amazing penetrating eyes and he is very smart at getting the food out of the various enrichments.
Jingo is a very active male of about 5 years old.
He climbs right to the top of his enclosure, swings in the tyres, climbs in and out of the hammocks and plays a lot with the others too! He always wants to play!
